then

I've been playing the cello since the age of 7. It stuck with me through my life until I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2012 with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and a B.M. in Cello Performance. After 4 years of studying with world-renowned cellist Richard Aaron, I took on a job at an investment bank.

Now

I spend my days as a Vice President at Global Atlantic Financial Group but I still identify primarily as an artist. What's the point of going into work every day if I don't have something beautiful on the outside to live for?

In a stressful world that never stops, I turn to music to free myself from these pressures of everyday life. By experimenting with the sound of the cello in indie rock music while sticking to my classical roots, I use my music to reflect the dynamic, ever-changing environment surrounding me.

I currently serve as the principal cellist of the Bravura Philharmonic Orchestra in central New Jersey and the co-principal cellist of the Greenwich Village Orchestra. I'm also the cellist for Brian Trahan, (fka Sun Nectar), an indie rock band . Sometimes, you'll find me performing solo and chamber music in various places around the Tri-State area and beyond.
